Apps - more marketing than functionality
You know that situation. You just want to achieve a certain task and go search for the right app. Most probably, sooner or later, you find just the right one. But it keeps on buzzing’buy me!’ I like to pay for good apps, so I install the payed version. Now, most of the time (some apps excluded) they either pop up every now n then that you’d might enjoy the experience with this app if you’d consider buying more functionality- that kind that you’d expected to have when you bought the payed version. Or the one kind that would be very nice to have, but actually is very unnecessary, such as the app itself. Or they somehow’force’ you into buying a subscription.
What went wrong to ‘good old software’?
